Butterfly Sightings
This page shows some information of interest
about the butterflies in our region, their earliest and latest flight
times as recorded by people out in the field. It is interesting to
look at trends in this sort of data, to see whether butterflies are
appearing earlier in the spring, or later in the autumn. Could this
be one indicator of warmer winters for example? Click on the year to get the sightings list.
