More Grayling

Stevenston Dunes had Grayling showing well today - c30 inc 2 maiting pairs. All the usual whites, browns, blues, heaths and burnets too inspite of sea breeze bringing the temp down.

Brilliant! I haven't seen many Graylings yet this year. I was planning on visiting some of the Grayling sites along the Clyde to see if they are still hanging on there.I know that at least one good brownfield site has been lost due to the commonwealth games-associated developments in the East end of Glasgow. Sounds like now would be an ideal time to look!

I had a good count of Graylings along the coast south of Dunure Castle yesterday - 30 in total. There were also 7 at the Marine Construction Yard, Hunterston on 23rd and 9 at the same place on 16th.
