Dingy Skippers

Postby jimblack » Wed May 03, 2017 4:22 pm

Today, 3rd May, I had my first 2 of the season at Barony A Frame, NS 52762129. This is the same site as previous years.

Hi Jim

I also saw my first Dingy Skipper or the year at the Littlemill Colliery site (Grid Reference NS4414) this afternoon (03/05/17), after checking all my records from previous years I realised that this is my earliest ever record for this species by 9 days, I may well try and visit the Barony site in a couple of weeks.

I found another 2 Dingy Skippers at the Littlemill Colliery site this afternoon (07/05/17), they will be pleased to see that the Bird's Foot Trefoil has started flowering.
