The day will also include an afternoon field trip to look for Chequered Skipper and Pearl-bordered Fritillary and short talks on Argyll's special butterflies and moths

 Introduction to Butterflies Workshops 2006
 The following workshop is being hosted as part of the "Butterflies and Burnet Moths; A Recovery Programme for the Argyll Islands" project, part-funded by Scottish Natural Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund through Nadair 2. Focusing on Marsh Fritillary, Transparent and Slender Scotch Burnets.
 The workshop is free and everyone is welcome - no previous experience necessary.
 The workshop aims to provide information on recording and identification of all local butterflies whilst also focusing on key species. The workshops will be informative, informal and fun!
